Rechargeable Brother VGB batteries, shake before use

Brother, the Japanese trademark, is amazing us with some rechargeable battery prototypes called “Vibration-powered Generating Battery”. This rechargeable batteries are feed just by vibrations and shakes, even when they are inside the gadget.

There had been introduced prototypes for “AAA” and “AA” versions. For now, they have a low shake-to-power ratio, even though, according to the company, these novel batteries can be used in gadgets with a power consumtion of about 100mW.

Even though we are in a world full of batteries and lithium-ion batteries, we have to give a chance to a great idea that would help us to consume less energy while using our strenght to produce it.
