Nokia N9 button less and with MeeGo

Nokia has promised its arrival before the end of the year and complied. The Nokia N9 was officially introduced at the Nokia Connection event in Singapore with MeeGo as its operating system and without any front-facing button (in its side it has one for the camera and another for volume).

It comes with an AMOLED display, will be available with 16 or 64GB, and 1 GB of RAM memory. A 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU with a PowerVR SGX530 GPU and a OMAP 3630 chipset from Texas Instrument (without being able to beat the competition that plays with the dual core processors ARM modern designs).

The battery lasts 50 hours playing music, 4.5 hours playing 720p videos, or 11 hours chatting with GSM.

The external shell, better known as Unibody of industrial design is built out of polycarbonate that, according to Nokia, gives better performance to the phone in terms of connectivity without losing touch quality. Available in 3 colors: black, cyan and magenta.

It includes a built in camera with 8MP auto focus with Carl Zeiss optics (28mm); dual LED flash and promises to be really fast capturing snapshots.
