Intel is about to launch a new series of solid state storage devices intended to be used as cache of the system. They will be an evolution of the already existing SSD311 devices but withn memory that is based on 25nm as a significant improvement.
This solid state units use a 2.5-inch format (7mm height), in an mSATA format and utilizes a SATA 3.0 Gb/s interface. They use 25nm SLC Flash NAND memories, and will have compatibility with the Smart Response Technoloy and capacities of 20 and 24GB.
