We had already told you about two tablet concepts of Sony when they introduce them in the last CES 2012, and now the multinational company is announcing the release of one of those concepts: the Sony VAIO U.
Obviously, this is a thicker format than traditional tablets but thinner than a laptop. This hybrid and portable tablet device has a touch screen- from which a larger size than a regular tablet is expected- and QWERTY sliding keyboard. For the moment, we have no information related to the operating system, but it will be Windows 7, for sure - as in Sony’s Tablet S and Tablet P models- although windows 8 seems like a great fit for the device.
Until Sony releases more details this is all the information we have but we will know more soon.
