Geekshive towards the Top of the World

The Argentinian mountaineers, Fernando Rodriguez e la Hoz and Hernán ‘El Pampa’ Carracedo, are about to depart from the Argentinian estate of Neuquén towards Buenos Aires, and from there towards Nepal to climb the top of the world, the Mount Everest.

The 70-days expedition is a huge challenge. It requires strength, determination, and a lot of experience so as to put up with strong winds and extreme cold when reaching the highest peak of the world at 8,848 meters above sea level.
The Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world with a height of 8,848 meters. It is located in the Himalayas (Asian continent), and it marks the border between Nepal and China (The Tibet).
