Apple announces OS X Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud

Steve Jobs introduced the three new technological developments of Apple for the 2011. The new products are: iCloud online storage and sync system, iOS its mobile operating system and OS X Lion an update to the MACs operating system.

iOS 5:
The new operating system for iPads, iPhones and iPods, comes with more than 200 new features, among them we have, a new notification management system, the Newsstand app which allows a better handling of newspapers and magazines subscriptions, Twitter has been included to the operating system and it also includes a new version of Safari.

iCloud:
The new service on the cloud will be free for those who have the iOS 5, and those who subscribe will receive 5GB of free storage, which will allow the possibility to synchronize all the files stored in the cloud with other compatible devices, which of course must be from Apple.
If you like to save space on your gadgets and have your files well synchronized between them, the iCloud will certainly come handy.

Lion:
The new Mac’s operating system, Lion, formally “Mac OS X Lion” version number 10.7, is the 8th release of the operating system. It includes the “Mac App Store”, similar to the iPad store, where you can download thousands of free and paid apps for the Mac. It also has a new Launchpad, more functional and similar to the one from the iOS, a new feature called Airdrop which allows sharing files wirelessly with people around you up to a 30 feet distance without the need of WI-Fi. Besides all this Apples promises more than 250 new features.

The system will be available in July.
